Does not allow for transfer of raw video images from cam to phone. And no videos to FB our YouTube.

I find it easy to use and love the convenience. Sometimes there is a delay between iPhone/iPad and camera but I just restart the wifi and its usually better. One suggestion is to have an constant on for timer selection. It is a bit of a pain to keep having to go into menu to select it for each photo. I am very happy with this app and use it with my LUMIX camera and Panasonic camcorder.

Id like to be able to change settings on manual via the app. Id like to see a way to change the focus via tapping the screen. Want to control aperture and shutter speed with app.

I almost never give 1 star ratings, but this app is so bad I cannot help it. It took forever for me to figure out how to get my iPad3 to connect via the app, and when I finally did I was shocked to see the low resolution view of what my camera sees. Hey, if I am shooting 1080p on my camera, I want to see HD on my Retina iPad, not some stupid SD picture, especially a laggy one. And even if it was HD, to force me to see it on a small section of my iPads screen rather than full screen is stupid beyond measure. My Lumix GX-7 is a great camera. Clearly, the engineers who put this excellent camera together were not the same people who worked on the iOS app. The app is horrible. Im deleting it off my iPad. You should too. I can only hope Panasonic will "get a clue" and create a good WiFi implementation and app in the future.

If you are using this app on anything smaller than a iPhone 6+ it isn’t worth it as the live view mode within the app is nearly the same size as the LCD on the camera itself. Also, no focus peaking in live view mode within the app. Come on Panasonic - listen to your customer reviews and update this app!

I dont know why there is so much negative feedback on this app, it does exactly what it claims to do and very well. Its very easy to connect to, just turn on your cameras wifi hotspot and connect to it with you phone or iPad in your wifi settings the way you would any hotspot. Then, launch the app. Simple and easy! The visual on the app when looking at the live view is very good for a live stream. Its not perfect HD but it doesnt need to be. It is there to make sure you frame your shot properly. It does get choppy if you move a significant distance away from the camera. However, so does every internet app the further you get from your wifi hotspot. People that are complaining there is no full screen option are incorrect, its in the settings menu and works when you turn your phone or pad to landscape. Playback over the wifi tends to be a bit more grainy, but again its meant to be a quick view... If you want to see what you camera actually shot, put the sd card in a computer when you get home. All in all, this is a great app especially for the hx-a1 action camera that I have that doesnt have its own view screen. The only feature I am waiting on is Apple Watch controls so I can start and stop recording without the phone in my hand and without my hand on my face to turn recording on and off. At that point, my review becomes 5 stars!

I spent an hour so far and cannot figure out how to connect. I have worked with several different camera manufacturers wifi transfer process and this is the only one that stumped me. Definite thumbs down for ease of use.

The application is no longer making a connection to the camera, even when the wi-fi connection has been established. This means I can no longer upload images to my phone.

This app needs a full screen button...its ridiculous Im using an ipad and the liveview screen is no bigger than the actual camera monitor....1/5 the size of the ipad screen...

App is pretty good, works well and all but they are missing a huge feature that Im sure everyone wants, full screen video! Make it happen.

After the latest release the app fails to connect with my DMC-LF1 using wifi. The wifi connection is successful but the app does not recognize it. Panasonic and other camera mfrs need to understand that their customers actually use these apps and consider them to be part of the products. If the app doesnt work when I depend on it to complete a project, so far as Im concerned, the product is broken. If I ever find a camera mfr that can consistently maintain their software so that it just freaking works when I need to use it, I will migrate all my camera and lens purchases to that company. It is ridiculous to spend thousands for hardware and then not be able to deliver images because their application software fails. Obviously these apps arent adequately tested before theyre released. Come on Panasonic, wake up!

When I installed the app and tested it in my living room all features worked fine. Next night tried to connect so I could shoot remotely and I was trapped on a cycle of recognition but no connection forever. I have a lumix GX7 and iPhone 6+. Waste of hours.

Had no problems over the last few years connecting to our camcorder, and now it just sits there searching to connect and never does. Reinstalled app, reset wifi, and still no connection. Boo

Please have a full screen feature. Its necessary for remote controlling a camera.

This app drops the wifi connection within a minute. When it connects its ok, but I usually only get on shot before it drops. Not a good remote app

Love my new camera. However this application is a huge disappointment. It keeps freezing up. The wifi is useless. And its one of the reasons I purchased this camera. Does any one know of another application that can be used instead? Or maybe Panasonic can fix it so it works properly.

I see a lot of negative reviews for this app. I’m not going to claim those complaints aren’t warranted, but for me, a paid GH4 shooter, this app is brilliant. I shoot a lot of long form interviews and discussions where the camera rolls for 10-20 minutes at a time. The ability to monitor from my phone away from the camera, at the level of quality this app provides, is way beyond what I expected. It never drops out for me. The only thing I wish it had were audio meters. I monitor the audio through headphones connected to camera but that doesn’t make it easy to observe the recorded audio levels.

Based on the reviews I knew the camera would be great. The app has been an added bonus - it works really well with the ZS40 and an iPhone 6s. Allows you to: - view the camera viewfinder through the iPhone (cool bonus) - take pictures and videos from the iPhone - zoom in/out from the iPhone - move pics to the iPhone - delete pics from the camera - and other things I havent played with yet I have not had a problem connecting to the wifi (like others). It uses a QR code so you dont need to type in the long wifi and password info. Ive reconnected at least a half dozen times and still no problems. Ill be trying this on the ipad next, but its been fun to play with on the iPhone.

This app is fabulous for 2-camera shoots, such as interviews, when there is no second shooter. Thanks, Panasonic, for adding the actual live video feed when recording video, unlike the older LumixLink app. By the way, connects and works perfectly with my GH4.

If this app had full screen in HD and a few small features to control the camera from the app ... I would give it a possible 5 star.
